The first two years of a child’s life are critical for the development of their brain and language function.

Whether your child is a baby, a toddler or just about to start school, we know that providing opportunities to actively explore the world, through songs, play, feel and touch, is vital. At Klas, we provide an age-appropriate Early Years setting for each child to flourish.

Communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development are woven into everything we do. Literacy, mathematics, understanding the world and expressive arts and design are taught in a flexible way to include every child, at a pace that’s right for them.

Additional Educational Needs

We have a firm commitment to children with special educational needs.

Both our nursery manager and SENCO representative are Portage trained.

Leaving Klas

The transition to primary school from nursery can feel like a huge leap. We’re here to ensure you and your child are ready for the change. We have excellent relationships with local schools and love it when children want to come back and visit - and show us how much they’ve grown!
